Arm Hammer Litter Design 13 Inch Review

While it does my cat's litter box well, it *still* deforms and crumples from being difficult to pack. So not very aesthetic. I wish it was just rolled in a tube. Please note that the color is slightly lighter than the product image.

This was great for keeping litter from getting into the bathroom when the cats jump out of the box. It actually did its job too well as my cat has started urinating on the mat since picking up so much litter. Oops. Now I make sure to empty it every week or so to avoid unexpected cat pee!

I have a long haired cat so as you can imagine he scavenges litter everywhere with his fluffy paws, I already had one of these rugs from another brand , so I added a second one and this one was great, it made tracking a bit easier. The bottom line is you have to shake out the mat every time you clean the tray or it fills up with dirt and isn't as effective.

What idiot decided to fold this in half and roll side to side instead of rolling it lengthwise so you don't have to fold it in half and wrap the corners? The package size would be exactly the same! And this tiny, tiny rug doesn't even fit the listed measurements, but is half an inch shorter on each side! Useless. Why, oh why do they roll like that?

Bought two but as we have multiple litter boxes we bought a much larger one to walk around with to cover the entire area. Although they are small, 1 litter box may be enough depending on how your kittens jump out of the litter box as they are pretty good at catching dirt. They are easy enough to throw the collected garbage back into the boxes. Big debris isn't easy to dispose of, but this combination works well for our setup.

Picks up a lot of dirt but could be more efficient - maybe it should be deeper and have a hard bottom so the smaller one doesn't fall out so easily? Nothing really works 100% on cats, but it works better than anything else. A lot of people complain about the size but they post sizes so it's just a matter of reading - it was the perfect size for what I need it for.

Outstanding entrance mat! I have tried many rugs over the years and none have worked as well as this one (now I have 2). It grabs and holds excess litter so I no longer have "marks" on the litter box! I just flip them over and shake the trapped debris back into the box. I took off 1 star because it only comes in a small size. I wish they were larger or rolled so you can adjust them to suit your needs.

I love the look and color of this rug. It's much better at catching stray dirt when my cat leaves her box. The ones I had before didn't catch anything. The loops are actually tearing it off the paws I think as the dirt is mostly on the mat and not around it like my old mat was. I have brown slate floors, that also fits very well. Cute cat paw print. Highly recommended. I saw this mat in a t shirt some time after I bought it here and it cost a few bucks more so the price is awesome too!
