💡 White LED Tape Light SureLock Connector Assortment Pack by Armacost Lighting 560010 Review

The kit contains exactly (and only) what is shown in the first picture - the number 8 in the name clearly makes no sense. This package contains 3 connectors.

Simply put, it doesn't work. Search for another product. Electrical contact not made. I had to replace everything with another product. Get screw connectors.

They don't work at all. I used these connectors in two of my runs and those runs didn't work. I then tried changing one of the passes to a third of these connectors but it still didn't work. I then used the connectors that came with the Armacost strip light kit I bought and they worked great the first time. Do not buy these connectors.

I've been using Armacost products exclusively in commercial and residential settings for 2 years now and love them. This time, however, it's a different story. I installed 16ft strip lighting in the kitchen and 2 out of 5 patches are faulty. After troubleshooting, I assume that the connectors ordered are defective and have no contact with the tape. A reliable product is being sought.

I use Armacost lights with it and less than half of my connections worked on the first try. I had to push the copper connection points a bit and/or wiggle the connection to make it work. It wasn't a very fun project because I had to diagnose (every time) which end of the cable was not connected. I think it would be easier with a voltage tester. In any case, it was VERY lucky when they worked. One arrived broken. The only benefit is that they are (theoretically) reusable and small so they fit in

Possibly the worst designed product I've ever seen. My application used all three cables, each with at least one end that has an intermittent connection and needs to be pushed/pulled/twisted to make momentary contact. Yes, I have read the instructions. Yes, I removed the adhesive backing from the end. Yes, I gently rocked the cable back and forth until it was fully seated in the connector. Most didn't work and those that did were EVER too sensitive to shock. I got so fed up with losing connection as soon as I got the cable out of sight that I ended up cutting off the ends and soldering the connections between the wires and the LED strips. I even had problems with the strip slipping on some, the edge of the strip rested squarely on the edge of the copper connector inside the plastic case and wouldn't go any further.
