Get a replacement. Make sure you have a through socket and ratchet to tighten the top. Also, make sure the sensors on top are tight as well. If one of them is slightly loose, the check engine light will come on. In addition, the product was an easy replacement.

Perfect Fit. They make it run 100% better than the oil leaking Delphis they replaced. Personally, I don't care, and I don't see the need for active suspension either. I give 5 stars because it works great. However, the process of getting to where you can install it was a real pain for me. Maybe you have good MacPherson strut compressors. Before attempting to remove the nut, run a wire sleeve over it and remove rust and dirt. Otherwise the shaft can detach from the shock absorber. You will need a bushing with an offset/open end so you can prevent the shaft from rotating while removing the nut. Make sure the plate is properly aligned with the shock before…
