Excellent book with colorful inspirational patterns

Very good book on color knitting. Lots of good patterns, well illustrated patterns inspired by socks from all over the world. Worth the money for sock knitters. I love the details on the sole of the sock recipes. Another good book to add to my extensive knitting library. You must be able to read charts.

Fun but not great

I liked the suggestions but was disappointed - wanted a pattern for a diamond sock similar to how we knit diamonds years ago with a couple of spools we made from tightly folded paper or small threads but twigs with blunt ends, the pattern in the book didn't look like the diamond sock pattern I was looking for, so another sock book came onto my shelf with fun but not special socks - a bit of history about the different national patterns. perhaps the book has become much more interesting.

Around the World in Knitted Socks features patterns from traditional knitting locations such as Scotland and Norway, as well as patterns inspired by Italy and Switzerland. Knit trim, embroidery, side construction, travel stitching, beading. It's been…
