I just used it for the first time - here are my observations: a very high quality product, should serve a long time. In fact there are 2 gels, not 1 as stated on the packaging. This is good because you can get much better coverage on either side of the ankle. The ice packs are so well constructed that she was able to fit them into her hospital boot, which she would have to wear for 4-6 weeks. Very good product for relieving foot nerve pain at night. I wear it cold over a sock at night and its cooling effect lasts about two hours. Worked so well I bought another one so I can crank it up all night. Much better than taking painkillers with all their side effects! These are the BEST ice packs for ankles and feet! After years of testing all types of socks, bandages, etc., nothing compares to how well they hold up over time. Everything else I've tried breaks or doesn't stay cold long enough. I have reordered several pairs of these, love them!
