I own several books by Laura Irish and like the others this book could add to someone's collection.

This is a beautiful book, just time consuming for my liking, I'm glad I only put the price of the book into this failed hobby!

Everything is fine with this book. I like the books written by Sue Walters better because she is much better at guiding the reader on how to use the different firing techniques. There are some pretty patterns in this book. There is also a good discussion on how to burn leather.

A wonderful reference work for beginners and advanced users. I doubt cloth will burn, and also doubt that some of the materials she suggests burning when made with glue can be very toxic to the pyrographer. However, I found the templates, methods and information very helpful.

Laura Irish is one of the best pyrography artists, teachers and writers and this book clearly shows her talent both in the art and in the way she techniques easily explained. this fascinating art.
