Excellent product. I bought two of these. My drummer uses these to take 2 of his tom mics and plug them into a mixer channel and with another he takes his 2 overhead mics and uses this product to plug them into a channel. Saves space on your mixer, especially when you can combine signals from two microphones that are recording essentially the same type of sound. They work very well. Very important.

Pros
  • Audio and video accessories
Cons
  • Frequency

An indispensable element for great bass for live sound

I have used it with the Presonus rackmount system and JBL subwoofers/networks. Here's how I used it: I sent an AUX stream to this unit and then split it to each of the subwoofers. So I could only send low parts (bass drum, toms, bass, keyboards) to this channel. This kept all low frequencies off the grid, which really helped keep the sound very clean and crisp. No more mud about vocals and guitars. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Live Amplification Swiss Army Knife

If you have a drummer with two kicks but only one kick channel, this will help you a lot. You can even use it to mix two rack mics to save channels. If you play two-key keyboards, you can combine them into one signal to send to the sound engineer. But what makes it really useful is when you use in-ear headphones. You plug your mic into this guy. You connect the FOH mic cable to this guy so the sound engineer doesn't interrupt your signal. You then connect your IEM to this guy to give yourself…

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Phantom power problem

I use this device to connect 2 microphones to one input of my mixer because my mixer doesn't have enough inputs for additional microphones. The only problem I had was the phantom power. Since I have both inputs connected to this splitter and only one output comes out, the phantom power only goes through one of the inputs. Since the 2 mics I'm using require phantom power, I had to separate the mics so that the 1 mic that needs phantom power goes to one input of this splitter and the other input…

  • Excellent design

Clean, quiet microphone with serial isolation for PA

I use this for PA and A/B comparison (processor/preamp testing). I was considering other options (JS-2 at a higher price) but saw these at a famous animation studio I worked for and decided to try ART ProSplit. added my microphone sound and no hiss/hum/distortion because I inserted this block into my signal stream. I have never needed a groundlift or door station. That's a GREAT value for what I got from it. I switch from my mic to ART; then to my USB audio interface with one channel set to…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
