The best cheap cotton watercolor paper you can buy.

Great paper. The best cheap cotton paper available today. The spiral bound notebook has some issues but the paper itself is perfect for the price. Highly recommended for any aspiring watercolorist or artist. I just hope one day they offer it in an adhesive pad or pad.

Good paper, best in painting, drawing and artist supplies

I like that the paper in the notebook is spiral-shaped. I wish it had a perforated edge for each page I want to rip out so I don't have to cut. I've never bought 100% cotton watercolor paper because it's expensive and I'm a student, so I don't have any other 100% cotton paper to compare. I bought it because the price is right. I love the wet-on-wet watercolor technique and this paper will definitely stand up to heavy water saturation.

I love this watercolor notebook

I'm studying watercolor and needed a notebook that would allow me to practice strokes and color swatches and try out watercolor sketches without feeling guilty about using expensive paper. After reading and looking at many reviews I decided to give this one a try because the price was right, the size was great (9" x 12") and the paper is 100% cold pressed cotton. Regular paper for practice but not 9x12 and wire spiral binding is a pain.

This paper is good for watercolor practice as it works similar to other cotton papers but is not 9x12 in size so when mat or Framing goes, It's not a standard size. I also wish it was a standard tear-off pad as the wire is already falling apart and it's very difficult to remove the pages. The paper size is about 8 1/2 x 12, not 9 x 12. If they changed these issues I would buy again.

Good for beginners but not for pros!

100% Cotton? REALLY doubtful, and I highly doubt it. For "EXPERTS" as stated on the envelope? NO. After some testing, even my Strathmore 400 series works better, and it's a wood-based paper. Also, DEF doesn't compare to Arches and Fluid100 that I tested with. Sorry, but this paper is disappointing. I was hoping for quality cotton with a minimal buckle - and it wasn't. However, I give it 3 stars for its value for money, especially if you are a beginner / just starting out. If this is your case…
