Perfect for my wide mouth jars. Got them on my sauerkraut now. Just enough weight. The included pliers will help! The ball on top is great for making it easier to remove the glass when it's done.

Keeping my fermented veggies in good condition in their jars is so easy with this little set of fermentation weights and the included gripper! I don't have to push vegetables under the brine with my fingers. major advantage! Every detail is well done.

Top handle for easy grip. This is a huge improvement over flat glass scales. I also like that there is no rim or shelf at the top to catch and hold fermenting bits of fruit or veg that can lead to mold growth (when overlying the brine). Definitely recommended.

I used them to weigh down a Fermented Carrot and Ginger recipe and a Cabbage and Leeks recipe. Works perfectly. The small handle at the top takes up little space above your head and is perfectly shaped so it won't slip out of your hand. They will serve me for a lifetime and possibly my great-great-great-grandchildren.

They are easier to take out than those that are just flat glass or have little squares on top. The only thing I would change is the texture on top, remove the texture and it will be easier to clean. The pliers are a bonus, but with sponge tips it's difficult to grip the handle tight enough to remove. Weight.

Very convenient and easy to use. It even came with pliers and a brush. My first fermentation weights failed due to poor design. Now I have eight useless weights that I will only use if I run out of those nice weights during fermentation. Great paperweights, Oig! Good job with them, you won't be disappointed!

These weights are well made and I like the little tongs that make removing them from cans a lot easier. Initially I had a problem with a defective shipment upon delivery, but the seller quickly sent a replacement. I see that I have been using them for a long time. I bought these to replace my previous ones which didn't have handles making them slippery little suction cups that had to be removed. These are way better.
