I used them to weigh down a Fermented Carrot and Ginger recipe and a Cabbage and Leeks recipe. Works perfectly. The small handle at the top takes up little space above your head and is perfectly shaped so it won't slip out of your hand. They will serve me for a lifetime and possibly my great-great-great-grandchildren.
