Excellent results! suitable for computer components

With this product and the Thermaltake Massive23 LX laptop cooler, I was able to reduce the temperature of the GPU by about 15-17 degrees Celsius. Wonderful! Before purchasing these two products, I had an issue with overheating/throttling in games. This issue has now been resolved. The company that does this has good instructions on their website. read them. I used the credit card method and it was pretty easy to apply to both CPU and GPU. I highly recommend this product. In summary, I bought…

First it works, then it dries out and overheats the components.

I bought this thermal compound to use on some graphics cards and a water cooling kit. At first everything worked fine, the temperature went from 70-80°C under load with a standard cooler to 50-60°C with water cooling (in summer), but over time the temperature slowly crept up. After all, it was the middle of winter and even in a cold room, the temperature on the graphics card never dropped below 75°C. Took everything apart to troubleshoot and found that the thermal paste was completely dry. The…

Not as effective as standard thermal paste

First of all, I'm almost convinced that the amount of thermal paste is a more important cooling factor than the type - you need enough to seal the joint between the heatsink and the CPU. The plates heat up, but not so much that there is a significant layer of lubricant between them. After using this lube when going from an i3 processor to an i7 in my laptop, I began to overheat, causing the computer to freeze as it neared the processor's thermal rating. I figured it was just an imperfect…
