Get it - great price

This is the best watercolor paper I've ever seen. The paper is good. Rough texture if you like it. The spiral style of the notepad is also good. You can use it as a diary if you like. I love that there are 3 pads! The paper is double-sided. The only downside is that the perforated border is a bit difficult to tear off, leaving a very visible border. But for trial work, brush strokes and samples, this is a great paper! Even if you're just keeping pages in a notebook like you would in a journal…

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR ALL ARTISTS AND ARTWORKS: Designed for every artistic purpose, our watercolor notebook is the perfect notebook, suitable for both professional and budding artists.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Cheap quality paper!

I'm not a very good artist, but I understand how color is supposed to work. That being said I bought this paper for my Arteza Gouaches and my Winsor and Newton Dry Watercolor Set and let me state that this paper does both superbly. It's very thick so it doesn't show through. The colors themselves were bright on paper and easy to work with without damaging the paper or destroying the pigments. The paper has very little curl, so I would recommend patting the surface of whole sheets and letting it

Good Heavy Paper With Teeth

Wonderful notebooks. The paper is thick and has good toothing (texture) for watercolors. The spiral binding is particularly well thought out; Pages stay in place and don't move while you work with them. Also, the pages are unlikely to be accidentally ripped out. Each page is perforated and tears cleanly but not easily. I folded the paper back and forth over the perforations three times, and even then it took considerable force to rip the page out. (The page is torn clean with very small "dots"…

  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
