The drill worked great. I was able to drill two holes on each side of the shower stall to hang a fixed shower curtain rod. Unfortunately these beats aren't available in stores, but I'm glad I found them at Revain!
I drilled 20 holes in porcelain stoneware with less chipping and chipping than expected and no noticeable wear or dullness with these bits. Eventually the pilot part got so hot that I had to handle it gently, but most of the time it stayed cool enough to hold (no water cooling). They are "made from European components assembled in China" (according to the packaging), which is why the ARTU-USA, Inc. brand - a complete fabrication.
Installed two towel rails in a couple of showers, we have just installed new tile trim - 12 holes in total. I bought two of these just in case but one is fine although the last few holes were a bit slower. It doesn't "walk" on you and makes nice, clean holes in the tile. Used a regular masonry beater to work through the rest of the brick at a time in our units. I drilled the crack using medium pressure for about 20 seconds, cooled the bit by cleaning it with a damp sponge, and then continued…
