🚴 Enhance Your Cycling Experience with Arundel Gecko Bar Tape Review

This strap needs to be longer to wrap around a 44cm pole. It doesn't stretch, so it's difficult to wrap well around tight handlebar bends. I preferred the previous expensive envy band.

I only use steering wheel tape. Most of the time I ride with my bare hands, which is great even if my hands are a little sweaty. It's a little shorter in length than most other brands, so you'll need to wrap it around a bit so you can reach it. But I had no problems with 44cm or 42cm handlebars.

Feels good, looks clear. This material is slightly thicker than 2 layers of cotton tape. Some gel pads under the band will work if you want. I don't wear gloves but with this tape I might have to drive over 2 hours or so. I don't love her and I don't hate her. I will not buy again.

Just received and installed this tape. Two things so far: 1. Unlike other reviewers, I had a lot of tape for 44cm bars. I wrapped, leaving about 6 inches of stem on each side and also trimmed 2-3 inches of tape from the ends.2. I like that feeling a lot. The grip is quite soft. My favorite bar tape is Lizard Skins, but it has two disadvantages: It's expensive and gets slippery with sweat build-up in the summer. Arundel Gecko Tape works well when wet, has no durability issues and is comfortable to the touch. If you're using Di2 sprint switches and need to cut the strap, ripping the rest of the strap is no problem (sometimes a lizard skin problem).
