Not Worth the Hype: Disappointing Inverter Transformer

When I tried this product in my automotive setup, it failed to meet expectations. The transformer was unable to handle the load and caused damage to some of my electronics. While the compact design was a pro, the overall performance was a major con. I wouldn't recommend this product for any serious automotive use.

  • Not suitable for devices that require a constant and stable voltage output as it may fluctuate.

Two of them did NOT work.

Parcel posted to a very competent EE friend. He couldn't get it to work. 12 VDC at Vcc+ (and the normal grounding procedure and circuit is very obvious. NO AC output. Nothing about VOM or SCOPE. I took $$$ LOSS wisely, I don't have time for such nonsense, EVERYTHING ELSE I have independently ordered circuits, for the last 3 years it worked IMMEDIATELY!

Inverter review! - Tools and Hardware

500w inverter Overview The inverter has a suitable driver IC which switches on and off opposite sets of 2 IRF MOSFETs in parallel. The 2 halves of the main drive carry multiple secondary outputs. ONLY an analog meter that is HIGH FREQUENCY and must be used to select the terminals required for the voltage output. V0-V7 This board needs a drop of solder for the switch connections at the K+SW points and then plugs the switch into the red wire along with the fuse holder. A total of 5 solder joints…
