Change the laces for Athletic

I love all Gel Noosa shoes. My only complaint is the elastic cleats that come with the shoes. Make your shoes too tight/uncomfortable when walking. My toes went numb during a short run. Switched to regular laces and they have been in perfect condition ever since!

Pros
  • Hold my fists
Cons
  • Almost everything is

true size! New favorite!

I bought size 8 and it fits perfectly! They taper slightly around the arch and widen at the top. They are airy and very light. The sole is noisy when walking. not a creak, but the sound of "a new footstep on concrete." I love the no-tie laces, but they also came with regular black laces.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Reliability

It hurts without socks!

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are supposed to be "Tri" shoes as stated in the description. However, they have a kind of hard binding around the tongue that, if you wear them barefoot (since many triathletes don't wear socks when they run), digs into the top of the foot. Why use a hard rim around the tongue? So sad. Got them reconfigured and it costs the extra $5.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Feels great, only 1/2 size bigger

I always buy Asics half a size bigger. I've been wearing Noosa Tri's since I was 9 and always wear a size 10. This one is clearly at least 1/2 size too big. Should have gotten a 9.5. Other than that, I love the colors, the feel of the shoe (strong and light) and the stretchy laces. Will definitely try it and see how it works, hope it doesn't fall off my feet!

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, it's ok
