As other reviewers say, go small, buy a little larger than your usual size. Very convenient. Ideal for lifting. But the color is navy blue, not purple like the picture, if that matters to you.

I use them for deadlifts and squats at the gym. I used to go barefoot, but these are much more comfortable at the gym. It feels like I only have a comfortable pillow under my feet.

Matflex 3 is better for wide feet. The newer versions don't seem to have lasts at the widest part of the foot. I'm glad I can still order them. They turn out a whole size smaller than my street shoes. I wear 8.5 had to order 9.5.

I don't have wide feet, but they are too narrow. In my opinion, ASICS wide foot fits normal foot. I've never owned wide shoes in my life, but that seems to be a requirement for wrestling shoes.

I ordered 11.5 but my actual shoe size is 10.5. Size 11.5 fits perfectly, has enough room so your toes don't get pinched. Mesh and fabric are durable. I use them for running and training. Excellent purchase!

I bought this shoe to wear while water skiing. Bought this in August 2012 and still using the same pair as of September 2020. I've never had a pair of shoes that lasted so long. The conditions I use them in are pretty damn tough too. I was very impressed. Excellent grip on any surface when wet. Great shoes!

Buy wrestling shoes half a size smaller. I'm 11 and had to exchange the 10.5 I ordered for an 11. They do their job and fit exactly. Excellent shipping worldwide.

Excellent grip and hold as well as a great stylish design. The build quality is fantastic as they have given me hours of use 4-5 times a week for well over a year. I only replaced them because the soles finally lost traction after so many years. Make sure to buy a size up as everyone says they run a little small.

The shoes are ok but like an idiot I ordered the wrong size. I just haven't had time to request a refund yet. I hope they let me, although the hassle of returning and re-shipping may be greater for me than the cost of the shoes themselves.

I bought them to jet ski like most riders do. Better than other ASICS models of dive socks, the Matflex series is also fully rubber covered unlike some more expensive models. Matflex also has bottom vents that help drain water. I generally enjoy riding them, they are perfect for pedaling but can get out quickly when flipping over in the water. I would choose a 3 or 4 Mateflex over any other ASICS wrestling shoe for standing riding.

I ordered half a size up and it's still too small. I should have ordered a size bigger. And these shoes have no support at all. It literally looks like you're wearing socks. This is good for those who have neutral feet (flatfoot hyperpronators keep them away) and who don't have ankle problems.

Good shoes - quite durable, comfortable and with good grip. However, this shoe offers little support. I sprained my ankle in these boots because they weren't tight enough and didn't absorb shock enough.
