🐶 Aspen Pet 10ft Dog Tie Out for Small Dogs weighing up to 25 pounds Review

We got this for our new puppy about 2 months ago. Our puppy chewed the wire a little. But it has already started to rust and we've had it for less than 2 months. It seems durable, but I don't think coated wire is chew-resistant or very durable for long-term use.

I expected it to be lighter as it is designed for small/medium sized dogs. My photo shows the cord gauge and clamp size compared to the large dog tie I currently own. I returned it and bought a tie light enough for our 12 pound dog.

Everything worked as described. No rocket science here! My dog doesn't like it because it's too short. Of course my dog doesn't like being on a leash or not on a leash at all. 20ft is a little better for him but I have to make sure he has a clear path within 20ft so he doesn't get tangled.

I was looking for something for my 10 kg (teddy bear) dog. I combined this with a large bet, which I also ordered from Revain. In any case, this is a great solution. This wire is very thin but strong and is covered in clear plastic that looks exactly how it should. Snaps are what they should be for a small or very small dog/pup. I am very happy with my setup. The main thing is low weight.

That's good but even for my Chihuahua I need a longer tie. I got this because my dog would explore the area if I had the opportunity. I work from home, but I try not to be outside as much as he is. If he's lounging on his air mattress on the patio and I tie a tie around his seat belts, he can't move on the patio. It's a big space, and if you really want to keep your dog in a small space, this works.

This was the perfect item for us. I have a small chihuahua that weighs only 5.5 kg. We wanted him running around the backyard so he wouldn't complain. The cord is perfectly thin and light for him to walk and the hooks are small so they don't weigh down the neck in the collar area. I can't comment on the chewability or durability because he hasn't actually tested it, but it feels like a strong, quality line that he will definitely never break. As for freedom of movement, that's one thing.

We needed a tie for a favorite frame we bought and it was so cheap we couldn't think of a reason why not. This is definitely NOT for large dogs (we have 12 pounds). It works well and is strong enough not to worry about it breaking or being chewed by a dog. This cable is lightweight yet strong. I've tried others and this one is perfect for what I need. I use it to tie my pup by placing him on the inside of a closet door. I hung it on the doorknob and it dangles easily in and out from under the door. Great if I want it longer I can just open the door and let it come out the side of the door.
