Quick Check Fit

Use with care. Vehicles no longer use SAE measurements. For example, 5th generation Camaro wheels have a bolt spacing of 120mm. They used to be 4.75 inches or 120.7mm. This tool does not show this difference.

Pros
  • Works with most 4, 5, 6 and 8 stud wheels, offers inch and metric sizes.
Cons
  • So far so good

There are better

I seem to go through about half a dozen of these a year at my wheel and tire shop. Decided to buy this instead of the ones we usually use Not impressed Good price but Topline's are better More measurements and more accurate

Pros
  • 8-hole (6.5" and 170mm to 210mm)
Cons
  • Doubtful

Still as lost as before purchase. Do not buy.

I bought these to measure the lugs on some of the rims I've had in my shop over the past 10 years that are from previous owners. After the final measurement of the bores, this gauge shows the wheels in three different sizes. So it's almost useless. skip it

Pros
  • Tire and wheel tools
Cons
  • Very expensive

one tool does everything!

were that you used to have four or five colored plastic rings with different hole patterns to distinguish between different domestic and foreign bolt patterns. This tool accurately measures ALL (automotive) screw patterns! Simply line up two "prongs" with their respective adjacent holes, then read the template size (e.g. 5x112, 4x130, etc.) on the tool to determine which screw template you have. I liked mine so much I bought it for my buddy.

The actual scale printed on it is completely inaccurate

With many rims now coming so close to imperial scales due to the switch to metric measurement scales, it is very important that the PCD sensor provide a very accurate measurement/scale ruler as I have known Measured 5x114.3mm PCD (Ford) rims and the tool only measured it from the positive side of 115. So if I had guessed the reading, I'd say it showed 5 x 116mm, which doesn't exist, nor was it anywhere near what numbers on the imperial scale. Also tried with a known 5x120mm set (BMW) and it…
