Points for the idea but not living up to expectations.

Not working as well as I would like. Cool idea, but there's more dirt on the wing than on the ground. need below. The seat mount seems set far from the tire to pick up dirt.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

and doesn't work like the street version either

Yes, it's literally a sheet of plastic that probably doesn't cost a penny, but it works fine. This wide version barely fits under the saddle and doesn't fold like the road version, but offers adequate protection on the wet ride home.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • High Price

Very good sporting idea

I really don't want to give my gravel bike any fat mudguards. But I also use it for commuting and don't like wet floors. Thought for $12 I'd give it a try. And I'm very impressed. I just got my first real test the other day. It had rained all day so there was a lot of water on the road and trail. My back was very dry.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless features

The best wing! for cycling

I had the first generation of lifeguards that lasted 2 years before breaking down. The ratio of price and downtime is simply great! I bought this and used it during a storm and someone stole it off my bike! I've already bought another one and will definitely remove it when not in use. This version is much better (and bigger) than the original, and whichever version you choose, it's easy to install/uninstall and doesn't take up disk space.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good

Good coverage for 29x3.0 tires

Can't beat this price. Also, my Trek Stache 5 doesn't have fender mounts, so this is the only way to get them. It's just bigger than my 3.0" tire so I don't think it would be full coverage for a fat bike, but without the fender mount it's what you want. I also plan to use it on my road bike. It has a rear fender mount, but on the rare days I ride in the rain it works great. If they did it in the Celeste.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
