Did exactly what I needed.

Did exactly what I needed. The bolts have been removed without damaging the threads so they can be reused. They seem to be a nice addition to my collection of specialty engine tools. I only wish I had had it over 20 years ago when rebuilding Mustang engines.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Expensive

It does not take long. - Tools and equipment

Bought because of good reviews. Unfortunately I cannot agree with that. I bought these because I needed to remove the studs from my Flathead motor. I removed about 10 and then the tool broke. The roles just fell out. They were not subjected to violence. I used a 60ft/lb torque wrench to keep the 7/16 bolts from breaking. Lots of penetrating oil and heat. So if you just need to remove a couple of rivets, they work fine. However, they wear out quickly, so don't count on longevity.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I don't like it very much, everything is fine

Worked perfectly to pull out a damaged bolt on my Harley engine

. I accidentally damaged an exhaust stud on the front of my motorcycle. Although I have a full size (2017) Harley touring bike with skid plates and lower fairings, I had no clearance/fitting issues when I slid the 5/16 bit over the stud. From there I simply attached the ratchet and quickly and easily removed the damaged bolt in a matter of seconds. This tool made pulling the bolt 100% useless and I didn't have to remove the head from the engine to get a grip on the threaded bolt. For my problem

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Zero
