many problems Best Accessory

I bought this product because I needed a new headset as my old one was of poor quality and outdated. When the package arrived it arrived 24 hours earlier than expected which was great as I didn't have to pay for shipping for a day. I think the headset looks really cool and the mute function is nice. but it is unlikely to be multifunctional. Okay, now don't skip this part because you think it just happens from time to time. The product arrived broken. It didn't look broken so I don't think it's…

Great sound, great mic, uncomfortable

As many other reviewers have said, these headphones hit the head hard. I have several other pairs and they're already the heaviest of the bunch, but that tiny, thin (not thin like the padding, but thin like the front-to-back measurement) on the top of the headset actually hurts more than it makes easier. If I was planning on keeping them (I'm not planning on) I would rip them off and either add my own padding or forego padding and just use the rubberized plastic headband as is. Unfortunately…

Astro mode (if you want this headset, read here)

If you like a balanced headset, it's good for gaming and music. This is for you. I've used this A10 primarily for Xbox One, but I also occasionally use it on PC (I mostly use the Omen PC gaming headset). This headset works with almost all devices be it phone, console, computer and others. An interesting feature of this headset is that you can raise and lower the microphone. Lowering the mic automatically turns on voice chat and people can hear you, but the cool thing is that raising the mic…

Good headset, arrived broken.

Good comfortable headset. The quality of the plastic is nice, it fits on the head and the detachable cord is a big plus. There was slight wear to the plastic on the underside of one of the ear cups, but it wasn't very noticeable. Rubber cables would be my only complaint about materials. Unfortunately, I can't say how that sounds. After my first positive impressions, I quickly noticed how loose the cable attached to the plug on the ear cup was. It was hardly safe. Of course, there was no sound…

Decent entry-level Astro headsets

I've been using the first generation Astro A50 on my gaming PC for a few years now and I love it, mostly because it's extremely comfortable and also because I love the sound : while it's great for gaming, it's surprisingly good for the electronic music I listen to, as it's definitely bass-heavy but clean (as far as I know). So I decided to try the A10 to see if it was anything like the A50, only in a much cheaper package with an analogue jack and without the need for a wireless transceiver or…

Very good headset for the price

4 years later I'm still a proud (take it seriously) owner of the Astro A10. Pros: - Comfort is entirely dependent on the size of your head and ears, the headset has sliders that move up and down as needed if you have a larger or smaller head, but the ear pads put a lot of pressure on the ears, which can sometimes be a problem for some people including me - the sound quality is amazing and probably the only reason I still rock with this headset, I work as a video editor and motion designer so…
