New boards work fine

Received mine and works right away and as expected. The board also comes with a CPU lock which I used with the Phanteks water block and it works fine without you having to worry anymore about the CPU falling off when you remove it. Another thing to note is the audio drivers on the Asus website as they use the new Windows Store apps which are terrible. You can use ones from the older Rampage VI Extreme board and they work great and really work.

Overpriced - Motherboards

Intel has gone mad. I've always been Intel with more expensive processors. There's no way I can justify the high motherboard cost. Went to Threadripper for more than enough and way more bang for your buck.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

ASUS doesn't admit this line is very wrong

This is the seventh board I've worked on direct from ASUS since the 30 day retail warranty expired. We are now in our fifth month dealing with the cold boot error/code 00. So up to now ASUS management has said "no refund possible". So I guess they want to keep sending boards until a good one is found or until my 1 year warranty is up so they don't have to bother with me anymore. I've been berating ASUS boards since Intel stopped selling motherboards to consumers. Now it looks like I'll have to…

Unfortunately it doesn't work

There were two of them and both give CPU code 00 and don't even try to publish. iterates through all the codes and looks like a good download but ends up throwing an error and won't load. I sent the board back and the replacement unit did the same. I tried every trick in the book to make it work. This was a new build so to make sure the w-3175 was correct I ordered the gigabyte version and it started up with no problems the first time. Unfortunately, I've been an Asus fan for almost 20 years…

  • Fits a lot of people

Note: B0 Error in Computer Components

I am writing this review to make life easier for people who are having trouble without booting, especially B0 Error. Solution: Don't waste your time installing RAM doubting MOBO or CPU. All you have to do is go to the Asus website and download the BIOS update, rename the downloaded CAP file to DOMINEX, get a flash drive, format it to FAT (32) and insert your file and then run the BIOS update. via the bios button.

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
