Best PCIe sound card with a fixable issue

Fixed the microphone issue by leaving the software microphone sound options set to 'ON' and recording to '98' in the Asus -Switch software while games work best. PCIE SOUND CARD, they should solve this problem publicly, went through three cards and then found out by accident. could save me time and money, welcome ASUS!

Review of Asus Strix Raid DLX

Excellent sound card. Very impressed and the drivers are stable. The only issue I'm currently facing is the controller not working after playing World of Tanks. I can still control the audio using the keyboard. I can restore operation of the control unit after restarting the computer. No other game has that. The software is easy to use and you can see the difference between the different settings in the drop down menu. I didn't find the feature that lets you track which direction sound is…

  • Best in its niche

i think i have a lemon

so initially nothing works only 2ch stereo playback weird buzzing in some web browsers i can only get the virtual surround sound to work what i am watching or listening to. And when I boot it sounds like a mechanical relay switch. lol. i will return it I have no idea what happened. I've heard before. around. and I used a real headset with 5.1 surround sound. never tried to use a stereo headset. I love surround sound more than audiophile stereo.

No Electronics - Internals

I've been waiting for a solution for a year now. anyway it got worse. Sounds way better (IF WORKING PROPERLY*) than even "high-end" on-board audio. +75DKP Microphone problems, a lot of noise goes through the microphone which is quite funny, even if I unplug the microphone it keeps working, sound card -50 DKPStatic sometimes through the headset, I have no idea why, but sometimes there is just a lot of static . through. Sound Card -50DKP Causes game crashes on AMD and INTEL systems (2 different…

I bought this card about 2 weeks ago and sent it back to exchange for the Soundblaster. Below I explain why. The card itself is good. As far as I know the sound quality is good and I like the aesthetics. The only thing I have regarding the looks is that the connectors for the connectors are all the same color. I know it's not a big deal, but it helps a lot if you look at the back of the PC at an angle to see the color ring. The fancy glowing eye doesn't matter unless you're looking at your case

  • Nice to use

  • Not bad, but...

The best internal sound card currently available.

I definitely prefer this Creative Sound Blaster ZxR card (my previous card). Here are a few pros and cons: Pros: - Overall sound quality is excellent, best sound card I've ever had. I paired this with a good set of Harmon Kardon Sound Sticks and PSB M4U2 headphones - both sound great with a rich soundstage. The sound is "crisp" compared to the ZxR, which always had overwhelming bass. With this card, the mids come out much better. The build quality is first class. - The volume slider is software

very disappointing

I wanted to replace my outdated SB X-Fi Titanium Fata1ity Pro in my new build. Even though I put the supposedly "high" audio into the MSI M7 board, it still wasn't up to scratch. X-Fi, which is 7 years old, still knocks the pants down on the ALC1220. So I decided to look for something new. I'm only interested in the analog 7.1 outputs of my Tiamat 7.1 headphones. I have an external DAC for music. Now there are very few sound card options with 7.1 support. The Strix series is one of them. Also…

The best sound card on the market.

I have had Sound Blaster Z and X AE-5 series sound cards for a long time. This confuses her. Mainly because the software isn't complete junk and actually works. Sound quality is a bit worse than the AE-5, but that's mostly due to the high sample rates it can handle. However, this card really works. The only thing that confuses me is that there are no 1/4" connectors. :(

  • A dream come true

Quality sound card with features but some are missing

I choose 4 start because it's a good card, good drivers and features, but one feature is mostly missing - FlexBass or bass redirection which was on the old driver or other Cards like the Xonar Phoebus with old drivers and the Sonic Control Panel are no longer there. Drivers work perfectly. The card uses the Asmedia USB 3.0 controller chipset, so you must be careful not to install the Asmedia drivers in Windows Device Manager as the Sound Card Controller Host Chipset. This causes problems. You…
