Type of review

I was looking for an LGA1200 motherboard for IntelCore i7-11700K with all related M.2 PCI-e 4.0, etc. The choice was actually not so big, but I decided to stay on this motherboard. in all its characteristics, it looks very interesting.Compared with MSI, but I liked this one more. Everything worked out of the box (ofcomurse, later I downloaded the necessary drivers anyway), there were no problems with the equipment. My Win10 driver system took everything from my home site The ated BIOS…

Pros
  • 1. Excellent performance for a comfortable price for them. 2. Radiators on power circuits and also on 2m slots (I use it on my SSD), which are not bad in tests. 3. The WiFi module, which turned out to be very convenient for the system manager (I have not used it before), with good performance and communication quality. 4. Many connectors including USB 3.2 Type-C. 5. For me, a pleasant appearance (I don’t like colorful and multi-colored luminous solutions).
Cons
  • At the moment (more than a month of operation) they are not. If anything, I'll add it.

Pesty Internal Components

It takes 3-5 seconds to register that you pressed the ON button! He is extremely picky and looks for reasons not to publish it. Mind you, I've been building computers since 1994! This is the biggest problem I have ever seen with an ASUS board, my favorite brand, used almost exclusively for the last 15 years! She also had a GEIL problem with memory cards. I'm not sure if it's the memory or the motherboard as the motherboard became unstable and refused to send messages when I installed the memory

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unsafe

There is something to do

I've been using Z170-a with i7 67000k and 1050ti GPU since 2017. It didn't give me any problems. It's time for an upgrade. So I bought the latest available motherboard on my budget. TUF Gaming z590-plus WiFi. NOT CORRECT. I received the motherboard in the mail three days earlier than expected. Good sign. NO. Only certain drivers can be loaded. Then the network connection did not work. I failed to update the bios. So I called support to sort this out. No decision support. But they did their…

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

There are too many problems that BIOS updates are unlikely to fix.

Too many problems with this board at the moment. Tried stock bios and updates 803 and 805. Still frequent crashes and instability. Also, the board is too thin, making it incompatible with most AIOs. Update: ASUS released BIOS 811 which has the same patch notes as the previous version (maybe a bug?). This update still hasn't fixed any stability issues with the board. Downgraded to one star because BIOS updates are unlikely to fix the issues.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

AIO water cooling ATTENTION

Like every PC motherboard since time immemorial - you will have problems with obsolete (old) stuff running on new technology. So be careful with the components you choose in this very power hungry setup. I don't have any hardware issues - but I don't have anything older than three years (except the PSU and the AIO cooler). Please note, if you want to add AIO cooling solution, you'd better bring the solution with you. Meaning: You need to make sure your mounts fit into the very awkward rear of…

Won't work with my perfectly working GTX 1080

Spent the last 4 hours almost entirely trying to figure out why this motherboard isn't giving me any display output from my Asus Strix 1080. I've tried everything, BIOS update, another PCI slot, cleaning to make sure there's no debris, swapping the power cables from the PSU, changing the GPU settings in the BIOS, etc. all coming off a solid white VGA LED get stuck. This GPU worked perfectly this morning when I took it out of my previous MSI motherboard. No one on the internet knows how to fix…

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Solid but might need some tweaking

Recently put together a new machine with new Intel i9 and this motherboard, spent almost a whole day trying to figure out what was causing the problem as it wasn't processing anything/ registers and cannot load my processing system (Windows Pro). Turns out it wasn't my boot stick, but we had to flash the motherboard. Even though it was new (installed it a month after release) it still needed to be flashed and updated. IF IT DON'T READ YOUR OS, FLASH IT!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • No paint needed

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I installed i9 10850k with Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and everything worked without problems. Easy overclocking with built-in BIOS functionality. I recommend.

Pros
  • The presence of built-in WI-FI 6. Support for 10 and 11 generations of Intel.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

For a long time I chose a motherboard under 11900K. I've read enough reviews, about all these power lines and so on. Although the most important thing for me was the presence of the required number of slots to cram peripherals, such as a sound card, Raid controller, IEEE1394 ports and other things that impose their requirements on the motherboard, and as it turned out, there were not so many suitable mothers. I chose between several from Asus in the price range from 18 to 25tr, I almost took…

Pros
  • Number of ports, slots, customization and overclocking options. The remote WiFi antenna does not stick out at the back. You can connect a bunch of fans and even lights.
Cons
  • It is twice as expensive as simpler boards, although in my configuration without overclocking, they would also work. Together with the drivers, a bunch of software is installed, which then starts to knock out errors when you turn off the computer, and until you close all the windows with your hands, it will not turn off. Demolished the software from asus, the problem disappeared.

I was cheated! Product does not correspond to the description at all.

This is purely my impressions, so anyone who is lucky should not have a negative attitude towards him. One more for spoiled impressions, time and money. The problem is the following - after installing all the components, the system did not start. I bought a speaker and tested with it. The speaker was silent, went through all the components, but again did not reveal the reason. I went to the store where I bought the processor. They checked - it doesn't work. We checked the processor, RAM…

Pros
  • 1. Number of USB ports. 2. Availability of PCI 3.0x1 slots. True, the manufacturer's approach is not clear, tk. they are covered by many video cards. On the old motherboard from Asus P6T Delux v.2, they were higher than PCI 3.0x16 slots. 3. The ratio of the characteristics declared by the manufacturer to the price.
Cons
  • 1. Repair almost immediately after purchase. 2. Doesn't detect without ating the BIOS the hardware that is claimed to be supported by this motherboard. Specifically - Solid state drive WD SSD WD Black SN750 NVMe WDS500G3X0C 500GB M2.2280 (without heatsink).
