I received this old model to replace the same model that has served me well for a couple of decades. I only needed limited features and it works flawlessly.

Had to return it as it was sold as new and was obviously used and defective. I reverted to my $5 version of the Sprint that I bought at a garage sale many years ago and is still fully functional after all these years.

I'm having trouble receiving messages. Can't I use my cell phone to receive messages at home? My greeting disappears and reverts to the general greeting. still working on the bug. track down later.

I really like it. I used to have one that I've been using for many years; it was damaged. this is a replacement. Very convenient, displays the caller's number, records a message with the date. You can selectively delete and save the messages you want to keep.

I know, I know. With the age of voicemail, nobody uses an answering machine anymore, but my 80-year-old mother does. She had this answering machine for years and it finally stopped working. She wanted the exact same thing and luckily it was still available. Does what it's supposed to, easy to set up, no frills.
