Works perfectly! - Computers and Accessories

I work for the school district as a helpdesk. We installed LCD ceiling projectors in several classrooms and needed to display video from a computer project on both the screen and a monitor. We had several Y video splitters but they didn't work at all. So I bought these Aten 250MHz 2-Port VGA Splitters and they work great! It is very easy to install and configure, the picture is perfect, everyone is happy. The price was right too.

Cons

ATEN 2-Port VGA Video Splitter/Booster VS82

I needed a connection for our church to simultaneously run our laptop and projector for presentations and videos during services. It was the perfect device and the price was great. There were no problems installing it and we can move it to any place in the church very easily. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this type of connection. Previously we tried a Y-cable splitter and the image was always blurry on a laptop. Not with this box. The picture is perfect and very clear on both…

Not good for splitting projector and TV video output

I bought this unit thinking I could use the iScan Pro video processor output with a Sharp front projector and a 37" LCD share tv. Unfortunately, this device significantly affects the signal, so low-light scenes have insufficient contrast. Adjusting the controls for low-light scenes causes outdoor scenes to look washed out. Not recommended.
