Works well. Works on both my Arduino and the temperature controller I got earlier. Should work great for my fermenter temperature control plans.

it works but be careful the pics with wire identification are wrong. + not white, but blue. Once I figured that out I ran some tests with ice water and very hot water and the sensor is very sensitive, love it.

Threads slightly smaller than standard NPT. Sometimes this causes it not to close properly. This is a very small amount of deflection, but sufficient to fit the female NPT thread without binding and may not provide a watertight seal. No amount of teflon tape could fix it. Another star deducted for rust spots on the stainless steel. Looks like inferior stainless steel. Price-wise, however, it's still good value.

I was looking for a sensor for some low cost PID temperature controllers commonly sold at Revain and with poor temperature accuracy. That helped. This is the 3-wire PT100 configuration that I originally skipped, not 2-wire, but it's better. The only thing that worries me is the fairly flimsy connection cable, otherwise it's exactly as advertised. I use this submersible sensor to monitor the temperature of a water tank.
