🔍 ATP B-102 Transmission Filter Kit for Automatic Transmissions Review

Installed on Cruiser 07 Pt, installation was difficult, fit was a bit tight. For everyone who says it doesn't stay, I thought the same thing, but I didn't push hard enough. You have to press until you hear a click. The 2 round tabs must line up with the O-ring.

Not Mopar quality. One of the plastic pins that attaches it to the valve body will not engage. That's when I realized that metal is twice as thin as a Mopar filter because it bends easily when you press on it. Looks like an OEM but it's not. I wanted the machine to work, so I had to put the original filter back in. Next time I'll pay an extra $5 for a Mopar.

Serviced the gearbox on my Sebring 06 Convertible with 4 speed automatic. Same as OEM. The only complaint is that it's difficult to get the filter pins into their allotted spots in the drivetrain, and requires some patience and a good hard palm swipe. Be careful not to drop the o-rings and you'll put them back in if they don't work on the first try.

I bought this for my Chrysler Pacifica 05 which was in need of a transmission oil change. The filter was of good quality, but the gasket was made of inferior material. The seal broke trying to put the transmission oil pan back into the transmission. Transmission oil leaks everywhere after transmission pan and new transmission oil are installed. I wish the gasket was rubber instead of cardboard. Save time and energy by using a different brand as the seal is made of rubber.

Usually ATP make decent products but not this one. The filter does not have plastic fittings like the original Chrysler filter that fit into the holes in the transmission valve body. All I got for $15 was a new gasket as I flushed the old Chrysler filter and put it back in with new fluid. Really disappointed with it after getting the job done but couldn't risk the ATP filter falling to the bottom of the swamp.
