Enhance Transmission Performance with ATP B-265 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit Review

Direct replacement for 2004 Honda Pilot external transmission filter. As others have pointed out, the filter isn't that easy to access (easiest is to remove the battery and tray), but once you've done that, it's easy to swap out.

So far so good, installed on a 2000 Acura TL for 78,000. Replaced the original Honda filter along with 3 quarts of transmission oil and haven't experienced any upshifting or downshifting issues in the last 100 miles. The quality of this filter looks just as good as the OEM one.

Will NOT fit 2004-2006 Acura TL. I ordered because Revane said they fit. This is for 2004 Honda BDGA trans-Acura The part number for the correct filter is 25450-RAY-003. However, this is suitable for the 2002 TL. And for what it's worth, mine came with an O-ring.

I was told by the dealer that there was no filter for the transmission on this car. After looking at the chart and digging around the internet I ordered this one. The part to be replaced was the same size as the existing part and was properly assembled. I hope it works well and filters garbage. I'm satisfied so far.

Bolt-on specifications with this filter. Pretty silly that they supply you with a large rubber gasket but don't include an o-ring that goes on the pipe to exit the filter. My o-ring wasn't damaged so I just reused it. You can also most likely reuse yours unless you damage it or it becomes stiff and inflexible.

yes it's the right filter for the job and can be changed without too much hassle if you remove the battery, battery holder and wiring harness from the anti-lock braking module side in order Access to the ATF line at the top of the gearbox. However, this is NOT a kit. If it were, it would include an o-ring that goes to the inlet line that connects to that filter. To get the job done right, make sure you get this o-ring before you start the job.

Installed in my 2003 Acura TL and has been working great for the last 2 months. The original filter had 160,000 miles and Acura's parts department listed over $80. Some reviewers mentioned you need to order an o-ring, but my filter came with one. I recommend people with a similar build to use it as the old one was almost clogged for me when I cut it open and saw it. My TL has never had any problems with the gearbox and I hope this filter change will extend the life.
