I hope they loosen up a bit over time

I ordered them because I ordered a stand to make panning easier thinking they should pan but it's really just a trademark. I went straight to Revain and ordered them and received them in just a few days. I'm relatively happy with it. My only complaint is that I got grease on my hands when I took it out of the box and had a hard time turning it. I know you don't want your boat spinning like crazy so it needs to be tight but I'm saying my husband could barely get it to spin at first. I can't use…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ignore the reviews that say they don't swivel!

I've bought dozens of these which I put in kits I make for non-boot purposes. I have not received a single defective item. I've noticed that several reviews complain that the rotating bezel they received doesn't move. It's a solid item and needs leverage to move properly. Once mounted on a seat or other larger object, it spins freely but is very solid with no play (meaning it doesn't wobble from side to side). If it were easy to move in your hands, when attached to the seat it would swing back…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

So after reading the one star reviews about it being junk and not spinning I thought so would be what. Yes, when mine arrived I couldn't move them with my hands. Anyway, on a boat you don't want the chairs spinning like the tip of a weather vane, turns out they work great anyway! screwdriver through the slots in the STANDING Swivel. Then put the seat on the bracket, in my case it's the Wise double seat stand. Following the instructions on the swivel, install a 1/4 x 20 screw through the bracket

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
