Terrible Vertical Mount Straight Option

Based on my observations, this product is not worth the investment. The electronics were not sufficient and did not work as advertised. The only positive aspect was the vertical mount option, which was convenient. However, the negative aspects far outweighed the positive. Save your money and invest in a different product in this category.

Pros
  • Vertical mount design saves space and allows for easy installation.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Don't buy this! fits electronics

Do not buy this product! None of the recommended light poles will fit this connector. I ordered 2 of these and both have the same problem. I contacted attwood direct and they say the lamp posts should fit. Unfortunately I now have 3 holes in my boat and a broken cap base.

Pros
  • Mounts to flat windshield frame, includes V-adapter for tilting windshield frame mount; can also be mounted on the transom of open utility boats
Cons
  • Hard to say

So expensive for what you get

This was the only product of this type I could find and I love that it's plastic so it never corrodes or stains my case , but man, it's pricey for what it's a little plastic jar. It is also not compatible with Atwood lamp post collar locks, which I don't understand as they are the same brand. You turn the post a quarter turn and the second pin snaps in place so it holds the post and it works fine. . It's a little unconvincing. When I'm on icc I use a 48" light to stay legal due to Coast Guard…

Pros
  • Wires tinned to prevent corrosion
Cons
  • Not the best
