🔧 Atwood Motor Kit 37357 - Model 8531-35-III & DC89-III Review

The problem was only with the installation, not with the spare parts. A flashlight was required to remove the set screw on the metal fan. Everything else went smoothly.

The bracket was so badly damaged that I couldn't even install this part. I've been stuck for almost 3 weeks waiting for my product. And now I can not install. You wouldn't rule out my last review

Works well. Bearings cannot be relubricated and are designed to fail. But it was an identical replacement for one that lasted 20 years, so I won't worry about that any time soon.

Motor was a great replacement for my Attwood stove fan motor. The only problem I had was that the new motor is slightly smaller in diameter than the old worn motor, so the new motor comes with a new clamp ring. It wasn't strong enough to hold the motor in place so I had to tuck it in to make sure it was tight. Everything else is great.

The motor shaft was not machined correctly for this oven even though it was listed as a replacement for my model of oven. The machined flat surface was only machined on about 2/3 of the shaft instead of the entire length. This results in the fan cage not being reinserted into the fan chamber. The engine runs fine but it wasn't the same configuration as my old one or the picture they show here on Revain. This device they ship has two 12 inch crimp wires. . In this picture of the Revain and my old motor, the clamps are built into the motor. The extra wire doesn't fit well in the cover, and I had to make an adapter for the ground wire.
