The Atwood XT 10- Gallon water heater provides the equivalence of a 16- Gallon unit without increasing the space required. Saves weight while fitting in the same cut-out dimensions of other Atwood water heaters. Comes pre-configured with a winterization bypass kit, tee fittings, hoses and a thermostatically-controlled mixing valve with check valves in both inlets. 10 Gallon Water Heater, XT Exothermal, Gas/Electric Model. Do not order a replacement tank until you are certain of the nature of the water leak.

Exact replacement, the problem is not the device. The leak was caused by the wrong 20 inch hoses, all of which were plastic and designed to connect to the sink faucet. A plastic fitting at the tank outlet at 140 degrees Fahrenheit caused the fitting to discolor, become brittle and crack, resulting in increased leakage. The solution was to replace the plumbing lines with 30-inch stainless steel cross-weave and chrome-plated brass hardware that could withstand the heat. Carefully roll up the…

Glad I sent it back to Revain and UPS.

This should be a NEW water heater. However, it was clearly owned by another owner and for some reason was either used or disassembled ie parts for your old water heater. The bracket's metal frame was clearly bent; Pipe thread lubricant was soft and carelessly applied to all electrical wires; Details are in the box; the box was damaged. Revain shouldn't have sold me that water heater. Glad I sent it back to Revain and UPS picked it up at my home and I got a full refund. Rather than risk buying…

Easy Installation

Although stated to fit in the same space as previous Atwood water heaters, this one does not. The room needed to be enlarged, which wasn't easy - you know how small these rooms are, but ours is below ground level. We had to buy a new PEX line for "hot" water as the old plumbing didn't need it, it was regular PEX, plus all the new RV PEX fittings. If you live in a rural area like we do, expect shipping all those PEX materials to take some time. Then we find out that it doesn't have the same…
