Like the other reviewer below, I heard about headfi.org and bought these as a cheap replacement for my Sony MDR-EX300s that I lost a while back. Although they cost about half as much, they're just as good, if not better. Hello, I bought a bass and a tenor. I love the tenor because the mids (mids) are just as crisp as the highs and lows. Tenor bass sounds like bass when played loud (90%-100% volume). By loud noise I mean rain or ambient noise (medium frequencies). The bass is now 40% louder, so both bass and treble are stronger.
