Overall good speakers.

Good speaker for the money. The sound quality is good, but the magnet is tiny compared to most models. The mounting holes didn't match the factory holes in my '93 Ford truck, but a drill fixed that problem. There are no instructions in the box for connecting the LEDs, and no wiring to connect them, so I just left them unconnected. Still no light through the door panel. Overall the sound is great but I don't expect these speakers to compete with my head unit. Just a temporary fix for a long-term

There's always something better than

Well I'm a music lover and I never give out perfect stars, at least not yet. I got them for my wrecked car on a whim. I wasn't overly impressed with the sound, so before making any comments I made sure my hardware was properly connected. With some songs I hear hissing, the sound is too bright for my taste, more high than bass. I've tried foosball and they had more punch, I listen to electro, dubstep, so I'm glad I didn't sell an arm and a leg for it. In general, just buy it for your wife's car,

FOR THOSE WHO STILL HAVE A FIXED RADIO STATION

How can people not know?! I installed these speakers with my aftermarket Kenwood receiver and they sound fantastic paired with my subwoofers! You don't get a good sound with a standard radio, no matter which car you have. The guy with the Ford f250. Of course that didn't sound good! Ford is not known for their sound systems! YOUR RADIO CONTROLS THE SOUND QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF YOUR SPEAKERS! So if you don't have an aftermarket radio, stay away from them, they're not for you peasants…

Better than the stock Subaru speakers.

I have a 2008 Subaru Outback and like to listen to frenetic technical death metal whenever I drive. Technical Death Metal is characterized by its complex structure and dynamic rhythms, but I like the drum blast beats the most. The car has over 200,000 miles on it so I didn't want to go all out with the audio system. These BOSS Audio Systems BE654 6.5" car speakers work great with the stock amp and my aftermarket JVC head unit. Installation wasn't easy as these speakers weren't made specifically

Boss 4-way speaker

Just received this week and installed yesterday. I got them because my front channels on my quad amp went bad and my old door speakers burned out. I have a 2002 Galant with 170,000 miles on it so I didn't want to invest a lot of money in an audio system. I also buy Boss 2-10" subwoofers and a 1100w Boss Riot amp which is $106. They sound way better than I ever expected. I use these door speakers now with an Alpine deck and the rear speakers are powered by powered by a quad amp. For $24 these…
