🔧 Enhanced Cartridge Stylus Cleaner by Audio-Technica: AT617a Review

I didn't realize how dirty my needle was until I bought it. I have used it several times. The first time I used it was the biggest difference, now I use it every 20 albums or so.

Definitely not the most important purchase, could have used a brush for a lower price but works well and is easy to use. I also use a needle cleaner afterwards and am very happy with the results. A little pricey but this product should last a lifetime.

Since everyone is choosing onzow Zero Dust, I thought I would be different and go with a company that has been making phono stages for years. I know a lot about Onzow and their history but I know Audio Technica and trust their products which is why I chose these instead of working great.

I'm a big Audio-Technica fan. I have four of their cartridges including the ART1000 and love them all. I also use her writing brush. But I have to say that I miss this needle cleaner. This is because this surface of the cleaning compound is flush with or just below the rim of the container. The cartridge arm hits the hard edge of the plastic container when trying to use it, making optimal positioning difficult. I prefer the Onzow which is cambered making it lighter and more efficient.
