The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I present my opinion about the use of the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Yes, this is the M50 at the minimum. But the difference is much less than the price. I also have 50, and when you listen to each other, you can hear that the bottom is much muddier, but when you start working, there is no difference in comfort and speed of work. I work with the corresponding Realphones configurations.

Pros
  • Everything is clearly audible, it’s comfortable to work, in combination with Realphones it’s a fairy tale, two wires are included, one of which is a la telephone (krch one long, the other short stretching).
Cons
  • Muddy sub-bottom, ears need time to get used to closed headphones.

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

I present to you my honest review of the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Wasn’t expecting much more. Can’t say I’m disappointed with the sound. But as for me, not a lot of tops are missing. I compared these headphones over time with the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. The 50s sound like better in my opinion. Who cares to pay the difference in price between these headphone models. Take 50 x.

Pros
  • Good headphones for the price. Good equipment. Soundproofing is good, external noise is not heard in them. Sound in the comments.
Cons
  • If you sit in them for more than an hour, then your ears sweat. Squeeze your head

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I present to you my honest review of the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Bought these earphones and kayfanul to the fullest. Listening to music is a pleasure, especially if it is recorded in good quality. Movies are great to watch too. The only thing that annoys is the 3 m wire, but you can buy another one, since it is removable. Bought for 6500. and I don’t think I missed it at all.

Pros
  • The purest sound, they sit comfortably on the head, high, medium, low are all at the level without distortions.
Cons
  • No cable included 1.5m

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I want to tell you my personal opinion about Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. They are made very high quality and pleasant, they started playing right out of the box, after a couple of hours they warmed up, they began to play even better, I will wait for full warming up. In short, I am very pleased with the purchase. I use it in conjunction with the Creative Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 audio card

Pros
  • Today I bought it, I'm just happy the sound is great, everything plays in its place, the bass is simply mesmerizing! I listen to electronic music, I was looking for ears specifically for this direction. Sennheiser did not buy, the sound seemed boring to me, not that they play badly, probably just not for me. Also of the pluses, two cords are included - twisted and straight.
Cons
  • Not that this is a drawback, I just have the first ears of this design, everything is hinged, everything spins and spins until I get used to it.

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

My personal experience of using the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. I chose headphones according to the principle: if only they were of high quality and not prohibitively expensive. After listening to them on a computer and a smartphone, I was very pleasantly surprised. After listening to them on a serious player - really went nuts. Seriously thinking about buying a good player.

Pros
  • 1. They sit very comfortably on the head, the ears do not press, the sound insulation is excellent. 2. The sound is chic. I am not a professional, but even with my own ears I hear that compared to the cheap models that I had, the difference is huge. I write a review, listen to music and get high. 3. Low-resistance, you can listen to it on any smartphone if you wish.
Cons
  • The disadvantages include the lack of a short wire. For the player, you will have to buy another one, since there is a choice

Hello everyone, today I want to tell you about Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. I bought it about four months ago, I’m happy with the purchase. I carry everywhere with me. Would be a hard case for carrying in a backpack - it would be generally chic. Although you can carry it around your neck - the speakers can be turned so that they will not press. For me, these headphones are the perfect combination of high-quality sound and convenience.

Pros
  • Good clean sound. The upper frequencies are well audible, do not cut the ears. Bass not "hollow", but, as it seemed to me, after a month of operation they began to sound deeper. Ideal for rock music. Very comfortable design: covers the ears, and even with prolonged use there is no discomfort. They sit very comfortably on the head. Single-sided detachable cord with fixation in the headphones. The diameter and density of the cord almost eliminates tangling. At the same time, it remains flexible. For lovers of iPod, iPhone - on ebay you can find a cord specifically for this model with control buttons and a microphone.
Cons
  • The cords are too long to use with the player. Too light travel in the hinges - I wish they were tighter.

A little bit of my personal opinion about the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Compared to Sennheiser. Senkhs have a kind of castrated sound. I didn’t like it at all. I put on audio equipment, and everything sparkled with new colors, or rather, as it should! Take it, it’s a very good choice. Comfortable and easy to adjust to your head. Quality build. Audio equipment holds the mark.

Pros
  • Accurately balanced and pleasant sound. The bass guitar is great, which is a huge plus. Massive bass, but without busting. The vocals are great too. Removable cord.
Cons
  • No, no.

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

My text today is about my use of the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Great ears. I use in conjunction with NI Komplete Audio 2, ASIO, Foobar2022 player, FLAC format. Assembled qualitatively, do not creak. I fold them from time to time, conveniently implemented. But mostly I leave it as it is. Bought in February 2022 directly through aliexpress for 7000

Pros
  • Crystal sound, for my inexperienced taste. The music sounds just right: not too bassy, not too squeaky. The golden mean, if I wanted to add bass, would turn the equalizer, but such a desire does not arise.
Cons
  • Not found in 2 months.

In my review below I will describe my opinion about the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. I bought it in addition to active monitors for more detailed control and monitoring, they cope with the task at 100%, it is much easier to tune your sound with them, they give a complete picture of the lows, the middle and the top. It is also very pleasant to use as headphones for listening to music.

Pros
  • Smooth frequency response, closed design, two wires included.
Cons
  • Perhaps only the twisted wire is heavy.

I present my personal and independent review on Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. I’ve been using it for three years. Leatherette on the headband began to fly off. Everything else is like new. I ordered a short wire separately from China. The pressure on the head, judging by the rest of the comments, is solved by buying other ear pads. Regarding the sound, there are not enough averages, my personal opinion. Good option for your money

Pros
  • Build quality, sound good, price Soundproofing is excellent.
Cons
  • I have a big head, the headphones put pressure on my head. Listening for more than 2 hours is difficult. No short wire, ordered separately

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I present my personal and independent review on Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. I bought to replace the ATH-SQ-5, which have served me faithfully for 3 years and are still alive (I was tormented by soldering non-removable cords). Due to low resistance, they play better in tandem with Cowon j3 than SQ-5. On a professional amplifier, the sound is not much different. The design is comfortable. Take clearly.

Pros
  • Removable wires. Low resistance
Cons
  • Not

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

A little bit of my personal opinion about the product Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. Yuzayu coupled with an external sound card scarlett focusright solo. Bought to replace the ones that came with it. The resistance of the headphones is small, so any device can shake them. But you yourself understand that in order to fully reveal the sound, it is better to use them with professional and semi-professional equipment.

Pros
  • "Audiotechnics" and that says it all. The sound is very detailed, clear, crystal clear. Noble bass, soft high frequencies. In short, the sound is pure pleasure, nothing to complain about. After airpods pro - earth and sky. But comparing them is not very correct.
Cons
  • Rough ear pads and top. Great pressure on the head. The skull is probably big) My girlfriend feels comfortable in them. But they say you can order ear pads on alik. I will probably do so.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I present my personal and independent review on Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. The characteristics of the headphones allow you to use them both with a phone and with professional systems. Headphones are used for listening to music and movies at home, they also showed themselves on the positive side in games. We’ll have to replace the entire MP3 collection with FLAC, tk. the difference became noticeable.

Pros
  • Good quality sound. Good soundproofing. A big plus is the removable wire (two included). Nice build quality, foldable design. Case included.
Cons
  • In the summer, your ears will definitely sweat in them, it is better not to go outside in the heat. They sit tightly on the head and press hard, it is impossible to stay in them for more than 2 hours

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Today I will write my product review on Audio Technica ATHM40X Professional Monitor Headphones. In general, I am very happy with the purchase, although I overpaid a little, which is surprising, but I switched to these headphones from Sony extra bass, that is, from multimedia, and I have been listening to such headphones all my life, but when I switched to studio ones, I liked the sound more than studio ones.

Pros
  • The sound is beyond praise, the built-in sound card macbook pro 15” late 2022 shakes very well, the built-in sound cards in modern PCs do not pull these headphones properly, and I am 100% sure that you are not buying them for wiretapping from the built-in audio card of the computer. The build quality is also excellent, the plastic is not painted over like on Sony, so there is nothing to erase there, and if you handle it carefully enough, the headphones will last a very long time.
Cons
  • The hinge for folding the ears constantly tries to fold when trying to remove them from the head with one hand, nonsense, but still.

Unsatisfactory quality, I won't buy it anymore.

Quite a nasty disappointment. I wanted to join the "audiophiles" by buying something expensive, but I realized that it's not the sound that is measured by money. Everything was heard both without an audio card and on the focusrite scarlet gen3. I compared, do not believe it, with seven-year-old koss porta pro, which in almost all major aspects surpass this audio equipment (sic!) In the forties, the sound is really more or less balanced and clear. They lack only the music itself, paint…

Pros
  • -What-no purity of sound is. -Really big stage -Includes two cords for different lengths and an adapter -Soundproofing
Cons
  • -If a quiet sound plays after silence, you can also hear the hissing playing unpleasant background appearing -Headphones TS-yuk, literally if a song has a lot of similar sounds, it will stab your ears -Sometimes the bass is modest, but clear, sharp. And sometimes it’s just a buzz somewhere from above, sometimes they growl in a twisted manner, as if they are walking along the sleepers. - General deafness of the headphones, the sound is not expressed in any way, unsupported, without colors. - The stage is certainly big and good, the instruments are calmly sorted out. But you, the listener, are like a hundred meters from the source. As if 60 headphone spaces are not used. - There is some artificial echo. That is, sometimes the sound does not go and the point and sounds on its own, but it starts to go from the point, and the continuation of its sound is added. -In metal parts, sometimes the most interesting moments are overshadowed by rhythm guitar or drums. It is directly clearly audible, just over and over again one or another piece goes after another. - They put pressure on the head just terribly, that the head starts to hurt. -It is sometimes difficult to pull such nimble ears not across.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

They swing even with the standard Realtek, I didn't know that he could do that. Compare with previous monitors - ATH_SJ3. from 08/11/2022: I have been using headphones every day since May 2022, the rotary node is alive, healthy and not going to die. The sound is still pleasing to the ear. Cables, unlike the thin ones on cheaper ears, are alive and do not think of fraying or breaking off. from 11/11/2022: The ear pads are slightly worn from daily use, otherwise there are no complaints.

Pros
  • Gorgeous sound, good noise isolation, comfortable design, not too much pressure on the head, light weight (for me, at least). Good equipment.
Cons
  • Causes a feeling of distrust frail (visually) rotary knot. I hope it's only visual. After these headphones, you no longer want to switch to any class of ears below.

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

Absolutely not suitable for a phone or an inexpensive player. If you want to listen with them, you will have to buy an amplifier. My LG G4c doesn't rock them at all. no bass and no volume. The sound from my Sony for 2500 from the phone is better. But by connecting to a computer or through an amplifier, the sound immediately takes on a color. The bass starts to pump. After listening from the computer, I don’t want to take the phone from the old Sony)

Pros
  • Great sound. Powerful bass. Good scene. Excellent soundproofing. They sit well on the head. Premium Design
Cons
  • I did not find any shortcomings. Unless headphones for 100 dollars or more cost 8,000 at the exchange rate . See the rest in the comments

After the budget AKG, the sound is just a fairy tale. As it was rightly said in one of the previous reviews - half of the music collection is in the furnace, because the coding is audible. On more or less suitable sound sources, the equalizer can generally be turned off. Complete cords (straight and twisted) are soft and rather thick. Plugs like "gold-plated", in fact, most likely, brass or something similar. Screw-on adapter from 3.5 to 6.3 mm included. For 9 months, the ear pads have not…

Pros
  • Sound. It is most important. Quite comfortable on the head. Soft ear pads. Adjustment of coverage in a wide range. Movable brackets in the shackle, apparently, metal.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

In short, I bought them a month ago for 8000r, the sound seemed to me generally normal. And I'm such a fan of high-quality sound. Well, at least I cat under this. You can’t make me listen to any kind of plugs or bluetooth, even dear ones. And then it went straight! Well, I thought - THIS IS WHAT THEN THE 50s sound! But I got to the 50s through MSR7b. Both those and others cost 12,000 and 17,000, respectively. And now attention, right now it will be funny: I didn’t like the sound on them at all!

Pros
  • Sound, build quality!
Cons
  • There is no short wire and a little tight.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I took it for games and casual listening to music, because I have a shure sm7b and I didn’t need a microphone, if you have a similar situation, I advise you as much as possible. I advise you to immediately buy brainwavz hm5 angled pads from some alik. They become much more comfortable, plus a larger soundstage. After the equalizer from referenceaudioanalyzer or oratory1990 (I don't remember, to be honest), the headphones became just fine. I attached the equalizer settings below, maybe someone…

Pros
  • Build quality, sound better than the ATH-M50X at a great price. Great bass and detail. Very good soundproofing. I would buy these ears even for 30k.
Cons
  • Convenience 4 due to stock ear pads. With brainwavz hm5 angled - 5* Stock ear pads can be thrown out immediately. Just leave the filters so that the high ones do not cut. Volume control would be added, but it's a nitpick. After SENNHEISER G4ME ZERO it is already unusual to reach for the interface, but this is my personal nitpick.
