I have a broken cable. Makes crackling noises from my speakers. I'm sure they will perform and sound as good as any other compound when they work. Replaced the blue denim cable connectors at a similar cost. I have a feeling BJC cables have a much more secure RCA connection and are more flexible. These are really the only two factors I can judge. Both sound the same to me except for the clapping.

For a brand that's at least respected for their quality these cables are rather disappointing. I use them as a budget interconnect cable. from a preamp to a dedicated power amp - in some cases they don't transfer properly and I lose sound from one or both channels. I noticed that I have to manipulate the connection on the RCA pin so that both channels are output correctly. Received after reading (and in spite of reading) the reviews on these cables. Used them as connections between an Oppo CD player and various Marantz receivers and preamps and a Rotel receiver.
