Disappointing, overrated

2020 imac in Marantz HD Amp1 in Dynaudio emit 20 speakers. Wireworld USB cable and audioquest speaker cable. PS audio power connector. tidal current. On the plus side: low-quality recordings reduce sharp high-frequency spikes. Slightly improved resolution and details of the music. There seemed to be more "air" around the vocals and mids. Cons: High frequencies are dampened, so the tracks have lost their sharpness or aggressiveness. Lost dynamics in the overall sound. Tracks sounded more muffled

Obvious improvement in SQ. No brains. buy now

Use this on my main system. Signal path from source to preamp: Roon/Qobuz -> Roon Nucleus Plus (actually an Intel NUC 7i7BNB in a great case) -> JitterBug FMJ -> Audioquest Cinnamon AC USB Cable -> Matrix Audio Mini i Pro 3 Streamer/DAC (will used as a USB DAC in my setup). It powers the Naim SuperNait 3 + HiCap DR or Line Magnetic LM512CA + LM503PA monoblocks. Both shots are very clear and refined.
