I couldn't find a station.

I did not find a station in the house. It can even be installed on the roof of a car. However, I'm taking 25 channels on an old Yagi in my attic and splitting them into eight amplified tracks. I can try outside and if so I'll let you know but I don't need it outside. I live near Sacramento, California and am using a 3.5" RCA DHT235A 720p 60Hz LED TV (Silver) as my test receiver. Its reception sensitivity seems to be as good as my other flat screen TVs. I had low expectations but it was cheap to

August DTA180 Digital TV Antenna - Portable Indoor/Outdoor

I bought this antenna to use with a small portable LCD TV. I think I'd say it's all right. I also bought an August DTA207 telescopic ant which I am very happy with. This antenna works and the magnet is strong enough considering the antenna is very light but I wish it was stronger. The whole unit just doesn't feel very strong and I'm afraid it will break fairly easily if handled a little roughly or thrown into a car or bag and something placed on top. It's definitely consumer grade…

With the antenna on the back, reception is now excellent.

With this antenna and the DTA 240 I only got 12 channels, but when I connected the fan antenna for the first time I got 25 channels. I kept them after replacing the fan with these two little antennas. Someone told me it's because I didn't do another search when I reconnected those little antennas. The fan antenna had two wires that I had to run over the counter to connect the MeTV. MeTV is my reference channel because it's hard to pick up. Reception is now excellent as the antenna is on the…

Holy shit! I wasn't expecting much from this one

Damn! I wasn't expecting much from it, especially after seeing it in person. I was like, "Dude, that little sawed-off shotgun isn't going to take a hit!" Boy was I wrong! I used a flat bat antenna. The reason I wanted to replace it was because I live in the middle of several towers that are 10-40 miles apart. The old antenna picked up all the local channels but I had to rearrange them all the time depending on which station I wanted to watch. With this unidirectional, I just placed it on the…

Works perfectly. Never bought a TV antenna before

Works great. I had never bought a TV antenna before, so I didn't know what to buy. I've seen ones sticking to windows and wondered if they should work better. But after reading some scientific articles I settled on this retro style antenna. I love how small she is. It's so tiny but I can get over 60-70 channels between the two TVs I have connected! The tv on the first floor is over 60, the tv on the second is over 70. I have a third tv on the third floor that I haven't plugged in yet because…

Great for the price!

I've been trying to work without a TV for a month. So far I only miss my news shows, but I don't miss all the negativity. I wanted to get some more basic groceries. Got this little piece to see if it will bring some base stations. I live in rural western Kansas (think satellite!). The old connection (two clamps, no cable) gave me bunny ears. This little guy brings (a little depends on where in the house I am) CBS, ABC and some NBC (why it's not that good). I am very pleased! I had to fiddle…

It doesn't even work well in town

I live right in Washington DC in a decent building and I was using a crappy butterfly antenna. At the same time, I can only get ABC if I send it one way, and NBC maybe if I send it another way. I was hoping that I could add this little thing and it would get me more, especially PBS, Fox and CBS, but no luck. I have some cool lg stations overseas but lost ABC and still have no other regular network. I can actually see the WJLA-ABC antenna from my apartment and look at the blinking red lights in…

Good value for money

Just received this digital antenna and did some quick testing and it works very well. It receives about 18 stations in a room in my house where I had no reception on my Prisim 7" LCD monitor's standard antenna. is intended to be received. It only has a gain of 1.08 dB, so it is not a high- Gain antenna but is not advertised as such. The listing simply does not state the antenna gain. in horizontal position (horizontal polarization) than in vertical position. You have to put it on something…
