Not so fantastic antenna

I got this antenna mainly based on reviews. I have an Amazon 12 inch Supersonic LED Portable TV and I tried this antenna and compared it to the cheap little antenna that came with the TV and I found that the antenna that came with my TV worked was a cheap little piece in the box that worked much better when I made this antenna. This antenna has 9 stations but the supplied antenna that came with my TV has 22 stations, you count on that one. Keep in mind that I live in a really bad place here in…

but it performed poorly so I just removed it

I stumbled upon this antenna while searching through boxes I hadn't looked into in years. I got it for a computer dongle that I used to watch TV through my computer but its performance was poor so I just removed it. However, I got the idea to try this on a digital radio that has always had poor reception and found that the radio can now pick up weak local stations and play them back well, including my favorite classical music station which never gets an adequate one equipment could afford.…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not much maintainability

Amazing location but works perfectly

For many years I have had a portable television on my dresser so I can catch the news while I get dressed in the morning. On an old analog TV with a good signal, there were no problems. With the new digital television it is difficult to get a good signal. All of my local TV stations are north of me, and my windows only face east and west. (Brick wall on north side.) So to get a signal I have to rely on "reflected" signals. The problem was that I blocked the signal when trying to watch TV. And…

Small but powerful antenna

I bought a total of five of these babies! Small but powerful when the magnetic base is attached to a metal surface (ceiling frame, refrigerator, metal, tubular steel and cast iron window frames). I use them for digital OTA TVs in the bathroom, kitchen, living room and basement. Compared to bunny ears, it takes up less space. For the TV in my living room I used a Phillips-Magnavox SCA 060 amplified rabbit ear antenna which gave good reception but had to be rotated to pick up certain channels…

Just unbelievable. - Antennas

WOW! This is amazing stuff! I like to tinker and research. I built my own antenna and got 23 channels with it. I was expecting a few more but what I got was amazing. I connected it to my upstairs bedroom TV and attached it to the TV mount with a magnet. I did a channel scan and got 38 channels. YES, I said 38! They all arrived crystal clear. I then hooked it up to an existing cable that ran through my garage, through my roof, across my yard and into a DirecTV dish that I recently unplugged…

Pros
  • Reach and Cable - 50 miles and 6.5 feet of coax cable for more signals.
Cons
  • Requires socket

Decent price for a portable TV!

Small, compact and fragile cable of reasonable length, an amplifier may need to be built into the antenna line at some point, but not now. Receives almost all of my local channels. When the signal is strong the picture quality in the settings is good, much better than the old analog black and white TV I had years ago. Compact design and I had no trouble attaching the base. Simply loosen the nut, insert into the slot on the back, tighten to the desired height, and use the other knob to adjust…

Pros
  • Superior without power - The TV antenna does not need to be charged, making it easier and more convenient to use.
