Disappointing thread for crocheting

This crochet thread was a letdown .Though it may work for simple Arts and Crafts projects it was difficult to work with for more intricate patterns. The colors were lacking and the thread was thin and flimsy. HOWEVER, it was relatively cheap compared to other crochet thread options..

Great replacement

I couldn't find baker's yarn but it was so expensive so I bought this crochet cotton instead. I often bake and give pastries to the neighbors. I love the vintage look of waxed paper tied with a few turns of red string. So beautiful, nostalgic and eco-friendly. I also crochet, so this yarn is used a lot. Aunt Lydia's has been a trusted brand of crocheted cotton for as long as I can remember. It works great and is perfect for making napkins.
