The best thread for quilting

. I like that this thread can be sewn and quilted. You can get a lot on the bobbin, meaning fewer stops to change bobbins when you're in the middle of sewing. Excellent color mix.

Pros
  • is also understandable by the old
Cons
  • fading

Excellent thread for sewing quilts

I have ordered this thread twice and will be purchasing more as needed. I love the 50W sewing thread for sewing quilts because it makes my look more precise. I had absolutely no glitches or problems of any kind with this thread. love it love it love it!

Pros
  • 1421 yards (1300 meters)
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

best thread ever

I have tried many different threads for sewing quilts over the years and this is the best thread ever. The weight of 50 is less than ordinary threads and, unlike some others, practically does not pill. I love this yarn and have used it for many years in all my work, not just quilting. And all three Bernina sewing machines love it too.

Pros
  • A large spool
Cons
  • Very expensive

Look for the THREAD NUMBER

Recently Aurifil changed the names of all its colors but the numbers stayed the same. I sincerely wish that sellers on Revain who offer Aurifil would include the topic number in their title to reduce the confusion that will inevitably result from the name change. For example . . .the title of this thread says it's about "sand". . .and it was. However, this color is now called linen and sand is #2326 (it used to be brown). So if you need Aurifil Sand you need to confirm that you need 2325 (old)…

Pros
  • 100% Cotton Threads Aurifil 50 Weight
Cons
  • will be added later
