Broken thread

Received the thread yesterday. Today I used white and brown yarn in my English paper braid. Both threads were easy to thread into a #11 needle, the brown thread breaks when sewing.

thread knots and tears easily

The colors are beautiful, I tried to make some paper out of it and got frustrated very quickly. It binds easily even with wax. If you don't add wax, the thread may snap if you simply pull it through the cotton. When using wax, it breaks even more easily. I thought I would only use this thread for darning and even for small seams it still knots and makes sewing miserable. I have used Aurifil thread before and have not had this type of problem. I hope this is just a bad batch but it was a…

Torn thread
