So easy to install and makes an old van look like new

Nothing I don't like Took 15 minutes to replace the paneling for the entire back of the van and both doors. I will order another 100 feet and replace the lid trim and gutter molding. Expect it to take a little longer as I have to keep moving the ladder, but it's worth it. The quality of the molding seems to be better than the camper. but only time will tell. Bottom line, don't pay a dealer to make it easy for yourself to do it yourself.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No instructions

Exactly like new BUT - this stuff shifts like crazy! .Annoy.

Revised Review: In just a few months the replaced parts have shrunk about 1 inch on an 8 foot strip. This means it's now "open" at the end and I had to cover it with silicone to keep the rain out and that means a mess next time I change it! Make sure you install this on a nice warm day otherwise installation will be a lot more difficult.

  • Sleek design

Easy install, quality product, looks better fast

Update: After a few months I noticed the liner had shrunk by about an inch. This is not a product defect but a natural stretch response during installation. If I were going to use this again I would leave the molding a bit long and then trim it to fit after a month or two. back lost the pad that covers the screws. When I received the finish in the mail I was concerned the topper would look clownesque but after installing it I was very pleased with the result. At first I tried installing and…

Excellent replacement fairing Rv

Excellent replacement fairing. There were no instructions in the kit, and at first glance nothing seemed to work. When I started installing it, it wouldn't even stay in the grooves. But then I flipped it and installed it and it worked great. It looks like it should be set in one direction, but that's the wrong way. After about 5-10 minutes of practice I got the hang of it and was able to mount it practically with my bare fingers with a small flathead screwdriver here and there. I measured the…

MAJOR CHANGES!

After digging out the sticky ointment from the previous owner that smeared all the screws and got into the channel grooves, this bar went in very quickly and easily. A breeze to work with and looks great. The red color I chose gives the van a new, eye-catching look. UPDATE: This material is NOT durable. It looks great at first glance, but over time it shrinks significantly in size. This defeats the purpose of the installation as now the ends of the trim channel are again exposed to the rain. It

A simple and easy way to make your van look better

Measure the width of the end hidden underneath which in my case is 1 inch wide. Measuring on the outside of the track won't give you the right measurement unless you've done it before and know what you have. Replaced all 4 strips on the corners of my RV with a 50ft roll with extra scraps. Remove the screw at the bottom. Pull the old bar up as high as possible. Take the ladder. Remove the lap seal at the top to expose the other screw. Remove the screw. Remove the remains of the old bar. Pay…
