Arrived uncalibrated good for multitester

I wanted to use this gauge for HVAC to get the subcooling liquid line temperature and found the gauge read 15 degrees of the actual line temperature.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great meter on tester

I really like this meter compared to the Fluke meter. I see a lot of other guys using the magnetic attachment on the back. This makes it so easy to read on Acs. I like that the Flukes current clamp is better designed so that it doesn't rotate 360 degrees around the wire, it's more of a U-shape. Clamp meters are sometimes a bit bulky in tight spaces.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Zero

Considering the price and brand it's hard to go wrong here

I use it in HVAC quite a bit, seems reliable, has all the options I need. People say the thermocouple is inaccurate, and I believe that's true. But I just use a special thermometer or a FLUKE thermocouple and it's no problem. Can't go wrong here for the money

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

What offer! - Tester

Purchase of the first used Revain item. I opened the package and it is already open. But that's what the description says. I put the batteries in, discharged them and now it started. All functions tested, works perfectly. I'm guessing whoever got it first thought the batteries were installed and it didn't work. Your loss is my gain! $120 counter, brand new, only $72! I became a fan of their returns/use department. Just a reminder to check this section before buying a new one!

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good meter but: Tester

Overall great digital meter. My only complaint is that the LCD screen becomes unreadable at slightly higher than straight angles when a backlight is needed. You should look at it diagonally from below. Bit annoying and I don't know why. I've had $15 multimeters with a backlit display that's easy to read at a slight angle. Not critical, because I don't often need a display backlight. Mandatory but magnetic tape on the back. I wish it was included.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Fits

Great warranty experience

Lemon was first. The temperature was always measured 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit above the actual temperature. This feature wasn't very important to me, so I gave it up. After about a year I got an "OL" error every time I tried to check the AC voltage. I've tried 24V and 240V - same thing every time. So I went to Klein's website to look at the warranty claim. It was very easy and in less than two weeks I had a brand new meter. No questions, no hassle. Structurally it is solid. Really good feeling…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
