Holds insurance and registration papers very well. But the problem is that, as I've found in my past, after being in the car for a while, the velcro strips will tear off the plastic cover and leave a hole. So now I'm getting around this by simply removing the velcro patches when buying new (easier to remove) and not using any patches at all.

Cheap and short-lived. All three "melt" in the heat, sitting in the glove compartments of their respective cars. I live in San Diego, California; not Death Valley. The plastic actually melted on its own and I could barely open them, and as soon as I did I found that the melted plastic had wiped the ink off my insurance and registration cards.

Love them for insurance and registration. If your glove box looks like my kids then this is for you. Receipts, school stuff, etc. I find it easy to insert a new insurance card every 6 months. The reason it's so satisfying is that recently while clearing out the junk from his glove compartment, his registration was accidentally thrown away. Fastened with Velcro, very thin and has transparent pockets on both sides. Keep important information where it should be.

These are cute little holders and I love that you get 4 of these holders. I could give one to each of my adult children. It's not that you NEED them, but I think they're a good reminder to keep your current registration and insurance papers organized and available should you ever need them, something that can easily be forgotten or lost if life gets hectic. Every time you open the glove box you'll see it, so it might tell you it's time to print your last insurance card, etc.

I bought 2 of these about 28 years ago from a dealership that is no longer in business. They are just a bit worn out and we have more than 2 cars, now that we are grown kids I was looking for new ones. They are worth their money after 28 years. When I opened the package nothing was stuck to the plastic, the velcro was in place as it should be. It's money well spent keeping vehicle registration and insurance in one place where they're easy to find when you need them.
