Faulty Thermostat - Avoid This One

As a new automotive DIY guy I BOUGHT this thermostat without much research. As a result of using this product, I found that my engine would constantly overheat and I had to replace it. However, the price was reasonable. The biggest con was that the thermostat didn't function properly and this led to additional issues with my engine. .

Not suitable for 3.0L V6 engine.

Unfortunately this was the wrong part for the 4 cylinder engine although a search revealed it would fit the 6 cylinder engine. Seems to be a quality item though.
