So I bought them to repair 07 F150. I read another review that said I could change the plastic holder without splicing the wires. Will not work. The cage that holds the wires is the wrong size.

I replaced part of my plug on my 05 f150. This fixed the 8 cylinder misfires, at a price I would highly recommend if you have an older car, it's a little annoying given how small these parts are and how brittle the plastic is. Be careful, it's worth it.

For those who want to remove the factory connectors and replace without crimping, DO NOT BUY 99-04 Mustang wires that are too thick and don't fit properly. You also cannot get the locking tabs into these ports. May work in other applications, but 99-04 DOES NOT WORK

The next step in my repair car was replacing all the coils and spark plugs. I quickly noticed that the previous owners had broken off the safety tabs on 7 of the 8 original plugs. The great thing about these replacement parts is that they are true to size. I was able to carefully pry the wire connectors out of the plastic connector using YouTube videos, which allowed me to leave the stock wiring intact and just plug it right into these new connectors. These connectors work perfectly. They're not as "reliable" as the stocks, but that just means they'll last 100,000-150,000 miles instead of 200,000 without the little lugs breaking on contact. It's better than spending a lot more money on stock or, even worse, old 190,000-mile junkyards.
